Zero dead zones across 80,000 sq ft of manufacturing floor
A large manufacturing facility was operating on a 10-year-old Wi-Fi 4 network. Barcode scanners dropped connections on the warehouse floor, VoIP calls broke up in the canteen, and the boardroom video calls were unreliable. Operations were grinding to a halt.
We conducted a full RF survey, designed a new access point placement plan, and deployed a Cisco Catalyst Wi-Fi 6 network across all 80,000 sq ft. Every zone now achieves <5ms latency and >400Mbps throughput. Scanner drop rates went from 14% to 0.3%.
